Microchips issued by Virbac between 2010 and August 2012 may have failed.
The only chips affected are in batches starting with 978 or 8260978 UPDATE: batch 9000.
Virbac have written to all owners advising them to go to their vets for scanning, and a free replacement chip where necessary. However, any owners who have not notified Petlog of a change in details will not have received this letter.
You should also ensure that your microchip details are up-to-date on your dog’s DogLost page.
Further information is available from the Virbac helpline on 01359 256032 or enquiries@virbac.co.uk
